Welcome to The Furnace Kenosha

At The Furnace, as a House of Prayer we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where anyone can come together to worship, grow in the knowledge of the Word, experience the power of the Holy Spirit, and have fellowship with other like-minded Followers of Christ. Our church is dedicated to serving the Kenosha Community and the Region, through prayer and intercession, and also going into the community to minister to those in need.

Services

Worship

The Furnace is a place of worship!

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24

Discipleship

We teach the Word of God.  Jesus said go and make Disciples, not converts.  We may teach the basics of Christianity, but we want Followers of Christ to know their Father in Heaven and deep spiritual knowledge that comes only through the Holy Spirit.  Yes, we believe in the power of the Spirit, and teach His Gifts given to men and women.

Prayer

We are a House of Prayer.  We pray that Heaven will be evident on Earth.  We pray for people, we pray for our city, and we pray for our region and nations.  Dates are set for Intercession with fasting to see a move of God in the Church of Jesus Christ.

Current Community Outreach:

Every Saturday Morning @ 9am, we will be meeting at the South end of Veterans Memorial Park near the Kenosha Public Market to pray for people.  Join us to pray for those who need it. This gathering will continue unti the Markets close at the end of the season.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time are your worship services?

Our worship services are held every Sunday at 10:00 AM. We welcome you to join us for a time of worship, teaching ot the Word of God, prayer and fellowship.

Do you have home groups?

Yes we do! We cherish times of close fellowship in a family atmosphere where we are able to speak what is on our hearts, where we can pray for needs, meet needs, learn about God's Word, pray, and do whatever the Holy Spirit leads us to do.  These groups are open to our fellowship and anyone else who wants to attend.  You do not have to attend a group to be "in" our fellowship, but I believe you'll want to.  We have fun there.

Do you have ministry for children?

At this time no. Children are in all of our services.  We actually want them there.  They do listen.  When the little ones get ansy, we do have a children's area for the parent and child to go, but we also have staff that will go with the children to let the parent have a break.

When the time comes with the Spirit's leading, we will have full ministry for our children.

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12-13

About us

In March 2008, the Williams family was in a state of transition. The family was living in Louisiana and was being called back to Wisconsin.  In the weeks before the move, Pastor Brad Williams was in prayer, and the Holy Spirit gave him a vision of a church that would be directed primarily to reach the younger generation.  This generation of believers would be set apart to God to foster an awakening in the region.  The church would be an Acts 2 Church.  These believers would live, speak, and manifest the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit.  The Gifts of the Spirit would be evident in their lives.  The church would be a House of Prayer. A church of intercessors; a church that moved the heart of God with a people that knew the heart of God.  In the Fall of 2016, The Furnace came into being.  Truly an act of faith that God will do what He said He will do.

The Furnace has been inspired by other Houses of Prayer in our Nation and abroad as well as Pastor Brad pastoring at Prayer House AG with friend and mentor Ron Auch Sr who has gone to be with the Lord. The Furnace is an independent Spirit Filled church that is committed to pray for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose, as well as actively winning the lost, making disciples, healing the sick, prophecying, interceding, feeding the poor, and impacting every sphere of society in our region. Our vision is to work in relationship with the wider Body of Christ to engage in the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and love people and cause an awakening in Southeastern Wisconsin and beyond.
